ESF Beta 1.2.1 Patch Install Problem

Hello All,
I'm having trouble with the patch installer. When I excute the file it wants to install the patch to my old steam directory. I'm not useing steam right now. I point the installer to c:\Sierra\Half-Life\Esf, which is where my Esf game is run from, and I get this message: Esf could not be found on the selected destination. Please choose again. Is anyone else having this problem, can anyone help me?

Firstly, since WON is dead - in order to play ESF online you need to install to Steam. Also, if you do install ESF in your WON folder (\Sierra\Half-Life\), you will probably get some random problems while playing offline games as Beta 1.2/1.2.1 was developed and tested in the Steam engine.

As for your problem, point your installer to the HALF-LIFE folder ONLY, NOT your ESF directory. The installer dialogue says this clearly in English, please point to your Half-Life directory - and provided you have ESF 1.2 full installed, the upgrade patch will work without a problem.
