Hmm, when trying to explain the style... I can only think of a kitchen floor and someone hit the disco lights.

As for that wallpaper, it's way too dark... and the effect layout is too awkward, doesn't really have any kind of flow, and the coloring could be a lot better and less plain.

Hmm, your basically just posting simple photoshop filters. I'm probably not that only who believes this, when I say... would you please post stuff that actually takes effort?

yep youre totally right, everybody who has photoshop or psp can do that in less than 5 minutes.
try drawing something using your whole hand and not just one finger for clicks.

My friend, you sound like you need to discover the brush tool :]

Go the pencil tool, hold the left mouse click over it, and drag your curser down to Brush Tool. Then, look in the upper right corner for a tab that sais "Brush", click that and mess with stuff.

Remember, a good sig consists of organized brushwork, moderate and appropiately placed filters, and layer effects (overlay, darken, lumination... etc)

Sticking to a color scheme is also a good technique, and brings flow to the sig naturally.

Also, don't be afraid to make a sig a least 15 to 20 layers, using each of the things I've listed above. Photoshop takes practice and experimentation, remember that as well.

well, a good artist can make something with just one pixel so try that first.
filters makes you only weak, it's not your work but the work of the program.

I've been using PS for years, litterally. One thing you'll learn is that filters suck XD Learn brushing. Don't go dling preset brushes now, but learn how to use the brush, soft tip for me most of the time, and smudge tool, using diff brushes, on diff settings.. YOu can get some cool effects with those alone. Learn to use layers and layer styles. Liquify, difference, and exculsion are not your friends. I'd make a brushing tut for you if I wasnt so lazy. Let's see how bored i get today, you never know :O

I'd direct you to a brushing tut but I dont know of any. I sorta did trial and error. You should do the same.
