Whiteguy just posted another bit of info. You can select which language voices you want (English/Japanese), music you want (Original Japanese Soundtrack (!) or Faulconer style guitar music specially made for this game (so long crappy Budokai music!)) and Subtitles (English/Off). The three options are seperate so you can have Japanese Music with English Voices with English Subtitles if you really want.

I wish I had G4TV

This is probably old news but two of the new combat features are;

Lift Strike: Knocking an enemy up as part of a combo, swooping up during the knockback and smashing them down into the ground in real-time. Somewhat similar to Budokai 3's preludes to Ultimates.

Vanishing Attack: Knocking an enemy back, swooping after them, teleporting and appearing from behind to hit them again. Like Budokai 3's teleporting after hitting.

2. Vegeta (Base, SSJ, USSJ) ~ Androids/Cell Sagas - Cell Saga Armor
3. Hero Vegeta (Base, SSJ, SSJ2) ~ World Tournament/Buu Sagas - Buu Saga Navy Jumpsuit
4. Majin Vegeta ~ Babadi Saga - Buu Saga Navy Jumpsuit
5. Baby Vegeta (Form 2 and Super Baby Vegeta, possibly Golden Oozaru Super Baby Vegeta) ~ Baby Saga - Torn burgundy vest, leather pants, dark purple boots and gloves.

Alternative costumes are out (in the version playable at comic-con), they're replaced by different characters with different transformations and attacks as seen above. It isn't known if it'll be this way in the final version. SSJ4 Goku was a seperate character but is reported to be a trans for GT Kid Goku as well, so maybe they'll add GT Vegeta for SSJ4 Vegeta's base form.

ふたりの力で敵のタッグを蹴散らせ！

Translation: And "アメージングコンビバトル" of the cover り tag which can unite favorite the combination. If it is combination of specification, using fusion and ポタラ, also union is possible. 蹴 Scatter the tag of the enemy by power of the cover り!

Yeah, comic-con is for webcomics but apparently they also feature manga and doujinshi. They have a DBZ booth there with the latest beta of Tenkaichi 2 and the full Super Dragon Ball Z.

I'm back again, and do I have some doozies for you all. I'll have pics and vids uploaded shortly, but until then let me start with:

1. As I suspected, General Tao cannot fly, like Kid Goku, Master Roshi, Yajirobe and Grandpa Gohan.

2. Characters possess as many as THIRY COMBOS, all of which are based on timing (such as after a dash or after a certain button is pressed) and as far as I know, differ depending on the size of the character (bigger characters attack slower).

3. The only other news I have can only be portrayed in pic/vid form, which I will have up shortly.


Tomorrow, I won't have my camera, so I'll be taking more in-depth notes on the combo system. I'll be back soon with the pics/vids. Later.

Also note that I may have to delete my previous pics to make room on my webspace, so I hope ya'll weren't too attached to them.


Edit: And I'll be taking questions after I post them, so if you asked a question while I was gone, post them again afterward and I'll do my best to answer them.

I have been reading for a good 30 minutes. I could take a lot of time to give my views on specific things, but none of you wanna hear that. Instead, I'll leave these words:

No Bio-Broly, Shadow Dragons, or Goku/Vegeta Jr (yet(?)) The new stages kick ass and are as follows:

1. Kame House- you can fight on Master Roshi's island and the ocean surrounding it
2. Earth Ruined- similar to Grandpa Gohan's house from Budokai 3, except completely desolate and barren.
3. Glacier- from the Super 13 movie, includes underwater and smaching icebergs.
4. City (Ruins)- Nighttime stage, only a few buildings and hillsides to smash through.

Awesome, huh?

You know that attack that Android 13 does (Silent Assassin 13)? Just like that. They've added a few more generic moves that have slight variations between characters. Ex: In Great Saiyaman #2's teleport frenzy, she doesn't teleport, she just moves REALLY fast.

Yeah I said that on GameFAQs, it seems almost every Saiyan has an Oozaru form, and you know they're all going to play the same. Looks like we're not free of the 'Attack of the Clones' curse yet.

How they can add Oozaru Raditz/Nappa/Bardock and not Nuova/Eis/Dr. Wheelo/Bio Broly/SSJ Broly is beyond me.
