This seems to be the same guy from ign.
gain this was a demo, so characters only had a list of five attacks each, along with about 5 or more actually combos. But what I liked most about this game were the little things.
For instance, the first match I played was SSJ3 Goku vs Bojack (first form) and Frieza (first form) Tag Team. Now what they did was they broke Goku's hair down into the seperate spikes, which would not only move better than in the first Tenkaichi, but actually sways in the breeze. If he moves and comes to a stop, his hair will fall into place, and when he dashed his hair will actually rustle in the breeze.
In another match on Namek, underwater has also changed. It actually blurs the view a little bit to show that you are actually underwater, and it doesn't look like it inhibits your movements as much anymore.
That's what I saw last night that I didn't remember until now.
Now I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
1. "Does SSJ3 Goku seem to have a better attack list, are there any indications of the Golden Oorzaru, and is SSJ4 Goku's 10x Kamehameha red and is it a finisher move or a super finisher?"
Didn't get a change to test those, sorry. I only had three hours and I was busy playing with the new characters.
2. "WhiteGuy, could you please tell me if any of the "ultimate" attacks have small little cut scenes or are those real time too?"
Yes, the cutscense are still there for Ultimates, but at least for attacks like Kamehameha it isn't there.
3. "Oh yea, another question WhiteGuy, how were the transformations? Did they slow down the gameplay at all?"
Nope. The flashing lights are kinda distracting, though, so maybe I was hynotized into thinking it didn't. hypnotized
4. "When do you think you'll be able to post some screenshots?"
I'm going back at about 11:00am, so I can start then. And one of my friends asked me "Is it okay to take pics of it?" and I told him that if Atari didn't want me taking pics of the new characters, they wouldn't have put a playable version of the game in a public place where EVERYONE carries a camera. That's just asking for trouble. So I'm well within my rights.
5. ?is there a way I can volunteer too.where do U live?
You?d have to go down to the San Diego Convention Center and see. That?s where I live. It?s a twenty minute trolly ride from where I live to the SDCC.
6. ?whiteguy are peoples move really original ?
More or less. They didn?t give everyone those generic attacks like in Tenkaichi. Ex: Cooler has a Death Beam barrage, where he launched multiple Death Beams rapid-fire. Yajirobe had an attack where he swings his sword and it shoots an energy beam.
7. ?Would you tell me how Master Roshi looks when he gets buff? How big does he get? Please??
Remember in Dragon Ball when he first did it? EXACTLY like that, minus all the nicotine patches and stuff.
8. ?When is bt2 supposed to come out in America??
What, do I WORK for Atari? I don?t know any more than you do on that point.
9. ?you can track your opponent with a beam??
Yep.
I've gotta get ready to go down to the CC to do my volunteer work, now, but keep those questions coming. Also note that the next time I play, it will be on a more playable demo (the guy who ran the booth said so) with fewer glitches and more features. Stay tuned. peace
If this is all true just wow.
