Yeah Majin wasn't really Vegeta or a Transformation, Majin Vegeta was his own self, and I am so furious that Dragonballz Tenkaichi 2 isn't coming out in the summer.

Japanese Release Date: October 5, Thursday 2006 for the PS2. No release date for the Wii version yet.

Special extra that comes w/ the game in Japan: A Space Pod-shape Clock.

In Japan, there is a Jump Super Game Toru going on, and apperently a demo for this game is playable w/ an update list full of roster.

Game Modes
Apperently have been powered up to 1000% ~_~

Ultimate Battle Z has return w/ the "100 fight Ranking" with each bettle having a certain thing you must do such as "Beat the ooponent in 360 seconds or less"

Dragon Tournament is the Tournament mode, and now there is the Tournament in which Bojack appeared in(Similiar to Cell Games where Cell was the final but now there's a Bojack one).

Data Center is where where you input others password to fight them and also get your own password. This time you customize character can be used in Story mode as well now. Also, there is something called "Sparking Fusion"...and also, you get something if you still have your BT1 Save on the memory card.

Super Training Mode is basic, your tutorial mode and training mode that has "evovled" from the first one.

The Ultimate Mode: Dragon Adventure!! This is the game's main story mode and has RPG like elements, you choose a certain Scenario(basically Saga, Movie, it's seperated like how the Z-Gates were but in a simple list as missions), once pick a scenario, you can fly around the world with your teammates and have a grand fun adventure.

Also, they mention that in Dragon Adventure mode, that the scenes are now all Full Movie.

Apperently, next weeks' Issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will have more info on the Dragon Adventure Mode.

Also, the Goku classes have been reported to be;

Dragon Ball: Kid Goku, no in-game trans but has an Oozaru version selectable outside of battle.
Dragon Ball Z: Adult Goku, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3 (SSJ4 has been moved to...)

Well good, I always wanted to play as the henchgirl of Bojack's, since Bujin and Bido just pissed me off =/.

The amount of characters is fantastic, but still, if they are given very generic, unappealing stats/moves, then it seriosuly lowers the worth sadly.

Speaking of new info, characters that can't fly, but have higher jumps and faster dashes; Kid Goku, Roshi, Yajirobe, Grandpa Gohan and Tao...so far.

Two new characters have been mentioned to be in, but no pics as of yet; Golden Oozaru Super Baby Vegeta and King Cold (second form only - probably Frieza Form 2 mistaken >_>).

It seems the normal kiblasts now have little explosions, as seen in the majuub vs 13 pic.

Character/Form roster is now around...140? And still going with two months to go? Will they hit 150?

EDIT: Someone on GameFAQ's who went to Comic-con said that the guys manning the booth were insistant that it wasn't a complete roster, just an updated one. I guess there really is more content on the way.

EDIT 2: Whiteguy, the guy who took all the above pics, confirmed this, by saying that the booth-monkeys told him some characters had to be pulled from the beta because they were too glitchy.

AND, more news on Tenkaichi 2 gameplay. Yajirobe, Kid Goku, Grandpa Gohan, and Master Roshi cannot fly. They can jump and hover and are allowed ONE dash in the air before they fall to the ground. I suspect that the same is true for General Tao.

This sounds promising.

Dude, the pink is hurting my eyes. Stages are MASSIVE. In my four hours of gameplay today, I only ever ran into the barrier a few times, and that was randomly smashing my opponent around. I haven't tested the combo system, I've been learning as much as I can about the new characters and their attacks. For example, Garlic Jr. (Post-Transformation) has his DeadZone attack, where he launches a large glass ball looking thing that hits the opponent, and when it does they get stuck inside and take a ****LOAD of damage. It's awesome. The no cut-scene is awesome because there is NO warning whatsoever, making gameplay faster than in the first Tenkaichi. Chargable attacks work like in Shin Budokai, while you're charging, you're vulnerable. But the more you charge, the more damage you do. Attacks can only be charged to a certain point before they're launched, though.

From the sounds of things, the beam system will be very similar to ESFs, you can steer the beams and charge them without a cut scene or camera change.

Shin Budokai, while you're charging, you're vulnerable. But the more you charge, the more damage you do. Attacks can only be charged to a certain point before they're launched, though.

There's no size change, but the increase in damage is insane. I'm taking base damage for Kamehameha is 16,000, fully-charged is at 24,000. I'm serious. It's INSANE.

Tag info

Edit: But there ARE tag-team attacks like in Budokai 3. Like the Great Saiyagirl has an attack where the Great Saiyaman comes in and they double-team the opponent, and Pan has an attack where Giru (sp?) comes in and launches a missle at the opponent. No Accel Dance for 17 and 18 and no Purple Tornado Blast for Burter and Jeice, thought they might still be in development.

I already answered this question a few posts ago. The only alt costumes so far seem to be for Vegeta, and it's actually different Vegetas for the Saiyan/Cell/Buu Sagas. Cell Saga Vegeta can go up to USSJ, and the Buu Saga Vegeta can go SSJ2. Nothing for Goku except his normal orange gi.

I don't want to say yes or no because it's still in the development stages, but a few of them are, like the Super Kamehameha, so you can visually tell it apart from the basic one.

Finally not a transformation!

They put Ultimate Gohan as a seperate character. I guess they wanted to get the most powerful people done first. And Ultimate Gohan pwns in Tenkaichi 2. And the person before Kid Gohan is Goku.

Gohan's not done yet, so I can't answer that. Great Saiyaman wasn't in the demo, so he might do that. They'll have to make a Gohan for going SSJ and SSJ2 and another for Great Saiyaman.

For a couple of characters so far, yes. And Pikkon was working this time. They gave him his tornado attack thing and his Thunder Flash technique. Can't remember his third attack, but it was some kind of rush that wasn't working quite right.

Ultimate Gohan as a seperate character? Strange, I thought it would've made a good irreversible tranformation. I know technically he didn't 'transform' into that form, but its such a technicality, doesn't really warrant a new character =P

The informants (Whiteguy and Crownjo) are going back today with lists of questions posed to them on their respective forums, so they should be back with a lot of new info. Plus it's the 21st, there's a fleeting chance of new scans.

Sounds like this version's going to be a lot more balanced... I hope there arent as many exploitables as in the first.

One thing i hope for is that they remove the capsule system for customising characters and replace it with something like in super dragonballz, having a skill tree earning experience and new moves as well as powerlevel. That'd make the game so much more interesting. Then if you really liked a certain low powerlevel character you train him to be as hard as the hardest character, and use them in vs with friends.

Thank god kid goku is still there.... the best character from the first <3 love him.
