Character editor program idea

:idea: I just play with my friends one I when the idea came about. Many of my friends like being the same dam person "goku". Me, I just stick with Trucks. But, with a character editor I think this problem such be fixed. The transformations and attacks such also be edited 2. That way we have some diversaty in this game without repeated people being the same person. It would be cool if we got some characters that were half Namek and Sayian, though I cann't picture how that may look like. O_O

As entertaining as that might be...It won't happen because "the team" REFUSES to do anything that concerns characters/attacks outside of DBZ *no movie, GT, or "fan fic" criteria to be added*.

Otherwise I would make my character, Vioden, and disintergrated everyone with Unniregetsura (Devastating "piercing than disintegrating" beam) and Ki Dama (Just a pumped up Ki ball to "nuke" the map)...

Again..
It would be fun..but, will NOT happen. It's a matter of "the balance of power"..atleast thats what I'm told...

That's physically impossible, since Nameks don't have balls or vaginas...... They reproduce asexually....... didn't you even pay attention during the Namek saga? Hopefully you at least attention in biology....

if you will have one some ppl will make some super-duper char that becomes ssj5 at 1 mil pl,
so it is a bad idea that wouldnt make it to the game itself.

Well how about just being able to change clothing accessores, chld version to adult or teen versions of the same characters with out changing the power levels, etc. though it would be cool if I could NUKE everyone, but then I kill myself in the process as well. :cry:

Yes, I have. And that still wouldn't work, because "clone" means to make a copy of... and it would be a copy of the Namek... (what self-respecting Saiyan woman would be a surrogate mother to a Namekian, anyways?) And even in theory it's not possible, because of the species difference..

I suggested this to the old modeller Vassago during Alpha 2. I was told no because the programs needed to change the models for custom characters (like a create-a-wrestler in the popular wresting games) would be far too difficult to write into the HL engine in a resonable amount of time. I don't even know if you can change the way HL handles models.

I like your idea/suggestion...but, "the team" will not (most atleast...pretty devoted to JUST DBZ....and Go-crap*opinion of a convicted Vegeta-Fanatic*)

I'm almost 100% certain that "someone" (one of my many favorite member..most likely Hibiki, !XxShAdOwxX!, Magus, Magmus, SailorAlaune,etc.)
will come and give you a better reason why edit/create/mod-A-Character won't be in an ESF game...*for example: "You can just load the model you want"...You know, things like that*

Oh..I guess I forgot *didn't* mention that Cucumba, Optimus Prime, Sonic Boyster also might "shoot the thread down".. Cucumba beat me to the POST BUTTON..

That's incorrect, just because it can't handle a certain function that you want it too doesn't mean that HL's engine is trash . . .

Auctally a mod does this. But what It is basically is 100s of models (I think) (I havent gotten a look at the models section). Its easer to do cause all the models are worms ( www.wormshl.com )

so i got an idea.
you have a number of points to give for stuff.
a point for higher health, maybe two, "buying" an attack costs you two points, and so on...
this idea doesnt let you build a super attack or something like that, or a super char.
you can have a 10 points limit for that, the effect is that you can create chars of your own, but you have to be with some sense on it. what do you think?
