The calculations are pretty off (uncover), and Toriyama released some powerlevels in the Trunks saga, too--but these types of discussions get really pointless. Follow along Hibiki as he pokes fun at it.

But you could never really know because it never says and yo cant really compare the movies to the anime/manga because they could have different PL's. Since Gohan was SS in the first Broly movie then you know it was after the ROSAT but before cell because Gohan would have went ss2 and killed him and Goku would have been dead. But if Broly is that strong against Goku then he was probably about as strong as Perfect Cell so why didnt Goku get the energy from his friends to kill Cell?
