Err, you need to explain a bit better before you can expect any form of help. Is the fps generally low in all your servers? What gfx card do you have? Did you follow the instructions given in page 1 of this sticky thread?

i got a geforce 4 64mb amd athlon 2gig but i put some new ddr-ram in it and then my comp when´t crazy.. what i have 2 do.. is it just the extra internal memory or something else

Once again:

Ok I'm gonna presume that your fps in games isn't all that great and you haven't really bothered with applying the tweaks suggested in this sticky.

Go to PAGE 1 of this very sticky thread, READ the first post and read Mr.Satan's posts.... DO what the posts ask you to as in configuring your autoexec config file. After all of that, go to a game, note down your fps ranges, and then come back with the result.

i dont think switching around files can be to hard expecially for me i just understand it some how in hell...hmfh...imma try something when someone answers my question and then I could tell Mr. Satan and he could put it into his next script? aye?, thanks!

ok i want to first say that this game is AWESOME. me and my friend, however, are experiencing a lot of lockups and crashes. i am not sure wut cause them tho. it could be that someone across the level is doing an attack that my computer has problems with like the problem some people get when they go SSJ. i will be charging up or anything and it will suddenly freeze and say connection problems wen i no there is none becuase it happens too often. also, it will just close the game and take me back to desktop. is there a memory leak in the program and is there a program i can download to stop it. or should i change my settings or anything like that. thanks

I'm not sure if this involves you, but to attempt to give you an answer, here goes...

My roommate and I used to play LAN games all the time, but for some reason our game would just lock up without error. I checked out the video card settings and he was running OpenGL while I was using something else. We figured that it was my game that was crashing, not his, because I could be alone in my private LAN server and the game would just blank out. I switched to OpenGL and I haven't had that problem since.

Originally I downloaded that fps-fixer because I have Windows XP and my fps is limited to only 60 fps when I know with my current set-up, I can achieve more. I didn't know what I was doing with the fps-fixer... it just gave a bunch of numbers in mhz for refresh rate. What do these numbers mean and which is best for optimal fps? Also, normally I run my desktop at 1024x700 or something like that, but in ESF I run OpenGL at 800x680, so do I tweak the fps-fixer for the 1024x700 or for 800x680? I set the 800x680 to 120mhz refresh rate, restarted my computer, and my video settings were messed.

Last week I downloaded the new nvidia drivers for geforce it also has fram refresh options on that too. Whats recommended refresh rates for optimal performance?

my ESF gets 10 fps on average, about 7 or 8 when i use boost.

and I run an 8mb nvidia tnt2 card....
then again i use software mode lol
512x400, or something like that. its crappy, but its the only way i can play ESF with such a bad card.

It may be due to your network setup, most machines are not setup correctly to handle your personal ISP needs, but is built around a standard.
Also the servers do crash, often, I played last night for 2hours and had to reconnect due to server issues 5 times. This is mainly from people who use disk attacks or gohan shield. So if your getting connection problems this may be due to the server your playing on.
As far as the game closing your CPU might not be able to handle the load and since XP doesnt crash everything but the problem program itself, your game crashes. Update ALL drivers for your computer including bios. and see if it helps/decresses performance. if the later of the two, then revert to your previous. (be sure to test as you go, so you know exactly which one messed you up / helped you)
