This might not be a bug per-say, but it's something that started happening after the 1.2.2/3 patch (i'm not entirely sure which build started the problem because i downloaded and installed them at the same time). If this has been posted before please don't eat me alive, i did quickly look through to see if it had...
I'm unfortunate enough to be a 56k player, but on certain servers i never used to ping too badly (between 150-200) with upto around 11 maybe 12 players. After 1.2.2/3 it seems whenever more than 6 players are playing in the same server as me i get really crazy ping fluctuations, going up and down between my regular playable ping and then spiking up to 4000. I usually get around 15 seconds playing time followed by 2 minutes of waiting for the lag to stop, so you can see how this is well annoying.
The reason i stuck this in here was because i don't suffer from this problem in any other hl/source based game so i figured it cant have been a steam update that broked my esf.
Whether or not you fix it on account of just me is another story however, but i wanted to make sure you guys knew about the problem regardless.
