me enter game amb 1 error is connection problem amb controls is the game half-life

ok i looked through the site and i realized that its all the same page after a min so i looked through it and i didnt see where to download the installer..only the patch.. could somone please give my a link so i can play this game aswell? :laff:

Ok the last time i got a problem installing anything was 3 years ago O.o...but when i try to install the new patch it says missing "MSVBVM60.DLL" :confused:

Question: How come my 1.2 installer comes up with the screen saying that it needs to close and you can send an error report to microsoft when ever I try to install 1.2? I have windows XP home and 1.1 works fine on for me.

I downloaded the ESF installer 3 times from GamersHell and ran it, and each time I got a broken installer message (this only occurred while installing some MP3s; unchecking the MP3 box let it install without error, though). The download I got from Fileplanet worked just fine, so I've got to...

I don't know if it's just me or everyone, but for some dumb reason the new link that they have put up for the Steam version of beta 1.1 isn't working. Is it just me? Why doesn't it work?!?!?! :talk: ;(

yeah, is 1.2 going to be like evm when it comes out? where we have to extract the files or w/e, becaues im not really a computer wizz and i couldnt figure out how to get evm to work or anything....so i was hoping 1.2 would be easier than evm to start.... O_o

Well I downloaded the esf11beta from fileplanet, and when I opened it it freezes at the searching for previously installed compents part. I am *POSITIVE* it's not my computer, but I'm not sure what the hell is wrong... If anyone knows please help. Here's my pc stats just in case...

well, the topic name says it, the installer of esf1.1 doens't work, it crashes immediatly as i start it...and no it's not missing pieces, cause i dl'd it 3 times over from different sites, but the result is the same...someone plz help

a focus for the dev team should be on the installer. the previous installers have had more errors and probs than i can count. its compatiblty w/ cs retail is terrible. try using an installer that is very compatible or use a zip file to install.

I have Counterstrike retail that is fully updated. i downloaded esf 1.1 and when i start the installation it says checking for "previous installed components". Then it has an error and closes. What do i have to do to play?

When i try to install ESF it crashes while checking for previously installed components. At first when i look in taskmanager it says it isn't responding. Afterwards, it crashes and exits. I have tried downloading it from a different mirror and got the same thing. Has anyone else had this...

Since I made the installer, I'd like to know if anyone found bugs in the installer (and I'm not talking about the "size expected" thing). Because the Beta 1.0 installer had a lot of bugs, I wonder if it's still the case.

I tried downloading the 1.0 to 1.1 patch in two of the links in the stickys, and after downloading when I clicked on both of the installers neither of them would just not respond. I tested running other similar installations wizards and they worked fine. How can I get a patch version that will...
