halflife

I made a map,I compiled the .bsp file, it appears on the maplist on ESF, but wen i try 2 run it, It comes up with an HL has performed an illegal operation. Plz help!!thnx in advance

I just got halflife and when i tried to play(by clicking console) it said Error cannot open C:\Sierra\half-life/esf/cl_dlls\client.dll , what do i do? do i need an update or something?

Hi i am about to buy a new half-life cause my other cd is broken. I can choose between 2 versions: half-life generations and the best of half-life. Now my question is, is it possible to go on the internet with 1 of those cd? and which do you recommend?

Hi, I just saw the new HL 2 demo and my god I was pissing my self. I know that it's old the demo but i live in NZ so we get our **** late man thats sad any way. After deveoling ESF in HL 1 would you remake it on the HL 2 engine? Or would you just leave it as is? Thank you for reading.

i whant to play esf so i want to open my hl. i click the link. my computer makes some noise and my mouse turns into a smal icon(you know the loading icon)and then it stops nothing no hl nothing . cs dousent workt to + any other halflife mod but the rest of my games work

What is teleports .spr file? I want to make a sprite that are blue streaks when you teleport instead of particles spreading apart. Please help me and if the file isn't grey and white i need help getting a host for pictures and the .spr file. Thank you.

I just whipped these up in photoshop, I like them myself and have decided to use them. But I was wondering what you think of them, are they good or bad? What am i doing wrong? Does it look fine the way it is? Ya know, the usual.

I recently when on my first plane flight and while looking down on the clouds I thought you could make an ESF map similar to this. There is a map called esf_skyarena that uses cloud effects. I don't know for sure how sky textures work, but I think they make a complete cube around the map...

Well it appears to me i probably accidently deleted it and i think it CAME with halflife and right now my friend has my half life, so he could install esf. So.... if someone would be willing to find the gfx.wad file and send it to me i would be really greatful. Thanx

When i try to connect to another server. But I can go into my own server without any problems. And I reinstalled the Halflife 1.1.1.0 patch 3 times because its happened 3 times. PLease someone tell me why.

im making a replacement menu screen pack with new images and stuff. Ive done most of it, but i cant work out how to change the image that is displayed in the console. I cant find the image file anywhere, and ive had a look at other mods to see how they did it, and i didnt find anything O_o so...

I just remembered that in CS you can add these half life monsters that come and attack you they have lower health than normal and they dissapear after dying and there are different levels of them. I was thinking it would be cool if esf added something like this later on. Their own version though...
