i want to make a demo file. BUT i dont want to use the RECORD command in console. cuz people dont have some textures and models. so how do i make a movie/demo without the record/stop/playdemo command? *like esf is doing it with mediaplayer. like the melee trow preview

ok, i tried to join sayimans server in the below post, and i timed out, but i've noticed that when i join/create a server, it spends over a minute at the spooling demo header part. otherwise it goes completely smooth. i'm running a windows 98, 733 mhz, 256 ram if i left anything out please ask

When I start or join a game, online or through a lan it always freezes when it says "spooling demo header" on my console. What the hell is wrong? Do I need to reinstall HalfLife?
