I'm wondering, since Yamcha is now in the character roster, would someone by any chance want to make an alternate model of him, with his suit and sword he had in Dragonball?
probably if the custom models are going to be in the final version like they were in esf 1.3 open beta final like costumes

That would be cool. I know the turtle outfit is better suited for this, but I feel his beginning of dragonball outfit would make him stand out a little bit.

Yamcha did train with King Kai so you could make up some BS that he learned the Kaio-ken from him and then give it to him as a 'final form' thingy. Or is he just going to be a gimmicky character and won't ever be considered for competitive play?

Hes probably going to be part of the buddy system with krilling, also the model needs a bigger butt.

And this is actually intresting. You know, I should probably NOT say this, but Masta told me that Yamcha isn't even a planned character...So right now I'm gonna stop working on him til I get a real answer from the devs, apperantly there has been a missunderstanding between the devs...

He skipped leg days it seems :D and somehow i think his shoulders/back is arched backwards a tad to much

Well, Mohammed, why you don't you try these days pipeline of character modeling? Try start with high poly mesh, then retopologize and bake normals? Well, it's just my suggestion. You should really try.

And here are all the mistakes. I know I should not have applied the 'ideal' man proportions, but Yamcha seemed to fit most. I tried to point out the problems.



Just my suggestions. Besides, keep up the good work.

no offense to zeroc or anything but, who did the Vegeta and Goku models? That guy needs to get back to working on the other models tooooooo

Better make Cell Games Yamcha. From behind people won't see a difference and think/pretend it's Mystic Gohan. You may re-use Goku's body.

I would appriciate it if you didn't call me by my real name, call me Zeroc instead.
The reason why I dont start with a highpoly sculpt and make a lowpolymesh with normal maps is because I can't. I'm not sure why people think taht is the easiest way, I find it REALLY hard. About the propotions..well, I will try to make it fit the "ideal" mans propotions, that couldnt be too hard!

Im not sure what you want to say with that, but I'm not making cell games Yamcha. The reason is, they want me to make him with long hair!

Now I did start on the face about two weeks ago, and only finished it yesterday here is the results:

I did make his legs bigger, and I tried to fix his shoulders so Ryokeen would be happy! And I started on the hair. Now the hair is kinda hard. You see, im trying to make it animateable, not like Jieces hair, but it's really hard, I haven't really figured out how to make it animateable, and at the same time look good....

I love how much better your getting with every model you do, +1 the googly eyes are awesome!

I guess now you just need the scars and the symbols on his clothes.

Though I think the hairs on his forehead need to be a little less thick a a little more curved.

Also for users who may not know this simple rule please stop quoting posts with large pictures. No one needs to see the photos twice in the same page and it can make the page a potential ***** for some people to load. Also it looks ugly.Thank you.

I think his eyes are too big but other than that it looks great zeroc :b
