LOL @ Esman ... u go boy. Ask them 21 questions and see if they still love u :)

The ESF team will do what they want as they have done in the past. You can go ahead and try but you won't get too far. Of course us, the waiting gamers, would just like for the team to put in bare necessities and release that then focus on adding the pretty effects later as update patches but after so many years, that's definitely not happening. We make for good references though for when one of the team members wants to apply for a job. I mean look at this great project they've put together here. Been going for so many years and still has an active community. Can't go wrong there.

Good job on the added stuff in game.

This is just unreal, ive played since 1.1 and ive never in my wildest dreams that you guys could create maps so huge..... but when I saw these updates... you realize these guys are the real deal. This game puts any other game I have seen into dust. Such detail yet there nowhere near done..... Once they are done with this game which still could be more then a year away, they could go to any school and be in 1st in line for any job for the gaming industry. Better yet make your own company. So how many Gigs do you guys think this game is going to take up when it's released?:smile:

Less than HL2 thats for sute XD

Most probably less than 1 ^^

As for the maps. They are as big as the mapper makes them with his 70k poly limit XD

But it does get anoying if they are made TO big ^^;

yea we still have to optimize it as some maps, not saying which or why were or are above 300k xD

If you keep it within that limit you are 100% sure that your map wont lag XD

And raven i think i know what laggy map you are talking about XD

Tehcnically the valve recomended HL1 limit for multiplayer maps was 600 ^^

But with todays computers 2k can be used without slowdowns ^^
