Won't let me play After fully updating ESF

I haven't played for a while. and now that i finally wantt o again. i fully update the game. and try to get into a server. and right when its about to let me in it says "Cannot continue without script events/meleesounds.sc, disconnecting.

What does that mean and how can i fix it? how can the newest patch work for everyone but me. it sucks.

Help me please


~edit~ I've looked around this forum and found 2 other people with the same problem. making a file in the ESF folder named events with a blank text file called meleesounds.sc didn't work.

am i screwed? what could be causing this i downloaded the SAME exact patches as everyone else so why did i get this problem? Is there any other way of 'fixing' it?

asuming you didnt fix it ^^
make shure you save the file as and select all files cause if you dont you actualy get a file called meleesounds.sc.txt instead of meleesounds.sc
