Why do 90% of PS2 online games BLOW BALLS?
Why is Xbox live SUCH A BETTER DEAL?
Why can't Sony organize PS2 Live or something? Jesus H Christ. XBox live prevents -some- games from going online, mostly ports and crap,
however the Xbox live games are actually -good- whereas there are like 5 free PS2 online games (which aren't very good) and the others, the ones that cost money, suck big wind. There's maybe 2 pay per play ps2 online games that are GOOD, and hell, they cost way too much money since they both require the HDD along with the monthly crud.
Seriously though, Xbox comes late in the game right? And it brings in everything PS2 lacks: more controllers, practically infinite memory, built-in network adapter, better graphics and load times. . .
To equal that a PS2 owner would have to buy a harddrive, two mem cards, a multi-tap, the network adapter and cable....and while Xbox started out costing more, adding all that junk to your PS2 DEFINITELY costs more. It's RE-DICULOUS.
I mean Xbox live is $50 YEARLY, that's like buying an extra game per year.
Sure.
1 year of FFXI alone. . .how many more times does that cost, like 3? Screw that. For ONE GAME? That's OK?
Whereas on live you can play as many games as you want, as long as you want, and it's all 50 bucks.
The only thing PS2 has is more, better games. If they had farking Xbox system specs, they'd rule the damn market. But I think organizing an online system that isn't HIGHWAY ROBBERY would be a first step.
