Why does Cell have a green aura?

People don't read the threads very thorougly... the reason we want his aura changed to yellow is because it is yellow on the show. See my signature. The reason for it being yellow isn't because of his Saiyan genetics, it's because he got his power from other living creatures, and in DBZ their souls show up as a yellow color.

Trunks Aura should be purple and Vegeta's Aura so be blue cause its like that in the show.

He also has green aura when he boosts power in form 2 against Super Vegeta, and when he becomes perfect. Given the choice between green and yellow, the team picked green . . . it more original for him.

Cell seems to be able to change his aura/powering up as often as he changes his voice - when he powers up in his first form to absorb 17, he has the nifty 'screaming soul aura', and when he reaches his full power in Perfect Form his aura is briefly blue...

Cell has to have a yellow aura that is the fact!
I guess because he has also Saiyan DNS in his body... And the SSJ have all yellow auras ^^

but he isnt ssj .... do goku and the other saiyans have a yellow aura when they are in normal mode ? no.. so why would cell have a yellow aura . he isnt in ssj mode . he has saiyan genes not super saiyan genes that make him a perminant super saiyan or something. when the cells were collected from the saiyans neither of them could go ssj neways . the cells were collected b4 goku went ssj for the first time. in the show it was the souls that made his aura yellow. not even 1 of the genes in cell should make him have a yellow aura because no1 had a yellow aura which the genes were tacken from to make cell.

do we ever get to see cells aura before he absorbs all the humans? i think when he has the fight with trunks in the future it was after cell only absorbed a tiny ammount of people so the soulds wouldnt have made his aura go yellow . i cant remember what color his aura was in that fight

Yes, Cell's body was filled with souls. And probably, he used the screaming soul aura to either silence the 'rebels' inside his body or to power up to his full strength when fighting against the others.

But later in the show;
He becomes perfect, thus, making his own power show up. Which is green.....

well human souls are blue so are saiyens because of their similar genetic make-up, androids are white because they have no soul total evil have pink (freezia, buu) because their souls are currupt (yes I know fat buu was good but he was still buu) ssj have a yellow arua this can be ither of 2 things

1. saiyens are more "evil" due to the ssj rage, anger, fight drive what ever

or

2. when a saiyen goes ssj it is in fact a hyper evolution to a higher form which would make them a new higer saiyen race this is supported by the genetic change in them take trunks for example he has more human eyes than the other saiyens but when he goes ssj he loses that and ssj4 when they reach it their eyes also become more humam like so it is quite possible that saiyen eyes are not quite as refined as human eyes and that given time they would have evolved or maybe saiyen eyes are better than human eyes and because ssk 4 is intouch with their primal side that they revert back (I'll have you thinking on this all day now:laff: )

if youve studied seniour science at high school u would probs know that a genetic mutation would be preaty much impossible to caus that. it must be a hormone or something triggering their muscles to bulk up n stuff. the hormones are probably only released when a certain level of anger is released . then once it has been released for the first time they have more control over it. or something like that.

.. saiyans are not evil . if they were babadi would have been able to control goku and gohan and make them majins but their hearts were pure with goodness and had no evil at all.

actually I base my idea on the fact that saiyens eyes changes due to the trasformation trunks has human eyes but they change to saiyen eyes after he trasforms same with ssj4 they get human eyes after they reach that lvl

also I did not mean evil as such just more "inclined" to fight

and the majin spell it did awaken the evil in Vegeta's heart but he was way to strong to be conroled

arnt human souls white ? when buu killed the whole population of the world u see all the people waiting on snake way and they were all white. and how evil some1 is or how corrupted their soul is wouldnt change their aura color . take a look at brolly and vegeta. their ssj aura is yellow compared to the gohan who has a pure heart of good whos ssj aura is also yellow. so take that out of the way. but i really dont know why your going into all this stuff about saiyains eyes when we are talking about cells aura ..

its hard to tell. one of the pics has the aura pure yellow and the other pic shows the aura with abit of yellow but mainly green

That "pure yellow" picture is actually from the How To Draw Anime website, and is a fan-made picture of Cell, if I remember correctly. But I'm not sure that it wasn't based on an original.

Alright, me being the Cell expert will solve this problem. Cell has the ability to have both green or yellow power up auras. Like the shot above, he has a green one. But while looking back, while he was charging his Kamehameha to Gohan, he had a huge YELLOW aura. This may be the artists error but he has both yellow and green. Also, when he was killing the Earth army and Gohan his aura was yellow.
