My fav cartoons are the simpsons, family guy, and furturamia, apart from them I dont watch any cartoons

Cant say my fav animes, like 1 or 2 people here, seem WAY to many to have a fav

In Japan, all animated shows are called anime. That goes for both American and Japanese animated series, movies, etc. So, in Japan, both Trigun AND X-Men Evolution would both be considered anime.

But in the US, when we say "anime" refer to Japanese animation. Some people call it "Japanimation." *vomits* Though, in one episode of Excel Saga, where they (they meaning Excel and Hyatt, the two main characters) travel to the US, and they end up having a tribute to both American and Japanese animation in the form of a battle with the bad guys, and anime is sometimes refered to "Japanimation" in parts of the episode.
