what i mentioned are all anime.... xmen - the original series is cartoon.... but xmen evolution is one of the few american born animes (not japanese).

im sorry but what? x-men evolution is not an american anime. it may have like one or two traits of an anime style, but it is in no way an anime. if u consider that an anime u may aswell be calling static shock, and scooby doo anime.

also to whoever said anime is what the japanese call their cartoons is mis informed, anime is a animation style, using certain traights and expressions unique to its style.

so lets review

transformers = anime
gi joe = not anime
xmen evoluion = not anime
captain planet = not anime(has more anim etraits then xmen E)
la blue girl = not anime, but hentai

how come u guys r so concerned with what is or isnt anime? its all really cartoons, any show drawn is a cartoon in the end no matter what u like callin it, i think family guy is my favorite anime and cowboy bebop is my favorite cartoon

I know what anime is, and X-men evolution is an anime......... but I won't argue, since I never argue when I am not 100% sure of my facts. And there is a chance I could be wrong here. Just my opinion.

My favorite anime, hmmm . . . (in no particular order)

Trigun, DBZ, Rurouni Kenshin, Chobits, Excel Saga (a MUST see), Puni Puni Poemi (two episode series made by the same people who did Excel Saga, you should only watch it if you are old enough, I don't recommend it for younger viewers), Gundam Wing, Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe (Tenchi Muyo was better, but Universe actually had a REAL ending; Tenchi In Tokyo sucked). What else, hmm . . . Transformers Armada, the original Transformers (I haven't seen that in years), Outlaw Star, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop (of course).

As for regular cartoons, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Freakazoid, Captain Planet was okay, Dexter's Laboratory (the older, better, original episodes, not the new, crappy episodes that have came out recently), and that's all I can think of at the moment.
