What is YOUR favorite RPG moment? (Warning, some spoilers inside)

Just wondering what your favorite moment in an RPG is.

Mine would have to be the Floating Continent in FF6
or tracking down the masamune in Chrono Trigger

So what's you guys's fav moment? :]

I'd have to go with EQ (EverQuest) when I finished big guild raid on my lvl 44, and finished my epic quests,recieving my nice swords.. Was total pwnage. But canceled my acc for that game like a yr ago. got very boring.. Waiting on World of Warcraft :]

i would have to say........in FF7 when sephiroth jumps and kills aries and cloud gets REALLY pissed and i always murder jenova or......its chrono trigger when in the floating city magus takes off the cloak and tries to kill lavos but fails i got alot more just dont wanna say em all

FF6: The fact that you didn't have to have the main character in the group all the time. The diversity of characters and there stories. 24-bit sweetness.
FF7: Aeris, Cloud, and Sephiroth, hell all the characters except Cait Sith. A bad man that became a dead man at the end of disk 1, he just didn't know it yet.
Chrono Trigger: The story, the fact that Crono didn't speak once that I can remember, everything else.
Everquest: The day I canceled my account for the third and final time.

I think he means when you go to medina square 1000 AD from teh End of Time, the portal is in some mystics' closet.

Legend of Legaia-When Noa enters the other dimension, she starts flapping her arms around.. (Not funny unless you see it ^_^ )
Arc the Lad:Twilight of the Spirits--Darc and Khargh fighting each other.
(This is iffy) WC3:TFT, Illidan and Arthas fighting..
FF3-When Phoenix fails to ressurect Rachel.
StarOcean2-The group's first encounter with Indalecio and the Wisemen.
Grandia2-When you fight with Elena and Millenia side-by-side, then the whole 'wings' part.

I could think of some more.. but I'm cheating, listing so many. :laff:

Chrono Trigger - When finding the fake Chancellor the first time (near the beginning of the game), and he transforms into Yakra, and the game completely pauses, and displays a message "Reverts to Yakra" - that just caught me off guard, I guess ^_^

There was a fan made Hero Quest/Quest for Glory...Quest For Glory 4 1/2...I only played it a little..but it was a quite funny remake of the original. And you get to go on a date with the apple selling centauress from the first HQ/QFG AND make with the squishy at the end of the date if you play your cards right. It's really quite funny to watch the hero of the series drop his pants and go at a horses rump.

And if you were playing on the PS version, the game pauses for 30 seconds. ^_~

My favorite is...bah, all I can think of is CT now.
It's probably in the clip they show when Crono gets killed fighting Lavos on the PS version.
That movie is so cool... how it shows Janus mouthing the words (very poorly, if you watch closely ), the light coming out of Crono's chest, his face, then he just vanishes...
I'm gonna go watch that clip again now... ^.^

star ocean the second story - when u find out there is no way in hell u r ganna see all 80 endings

xeongears - when u find out id is actually fei

fft - the whole game

saga frontier 2 - learning gustave will be the most powerful character u will have and u only get to use him for a short while

breath of fire 3 - finding out teepo was also of the brood

Hmm tough one.

I like ALL the FF8 and FF9 fmv sequences. The way they bring the games to life and interact with the game is just awesome. Especially when the missles launch for Balamb (sp?) Garden and when Garnet cuts her hair in FF9.

Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals

1) Fighting Amon (My Favorite Sinistral)
2) Retreiving the Stolen Crown
3) Fighting the Master Jelly in basement 99 of the caves in the north

Xenosaga-

1) The scene where the Captain has a flash back of FOS-MOS in
the old days and you see her ripping apart his unit.

Chrono Trigger-

1) Lucca trying to help her mom from injuring her leg in the past
2.) Fighting Flea, Slash, and Ozzy

Chrono Cross-

The Sea of the Dead (I think thats what it was called)

Final Fantasy Series-

1) Fighting Doom Gaze (FFVI)
2) Searching for the book of Ifrit (FFV)
3) Finding about Zidane's home (True home atleast)

Thats all I can pretty much think of, I really like most of the
stuff in FFIX though, Its my favorite FF.

Edit: I know which one I like the best now... But I forgot the names
of those two morons, their two villians in FFIX, They fuse in
together with themselves. Their like brothers and they dress like
jesters and the other one repeats what the other one says in a
diffrent way I liked fighting them. I think im goinna replay FFIX.

easy, in ff8 when squall finally stops being the quiet guy, when rinoa is out cold and he picks her up and carries her across the bridge on foot, and the whole space sequence when he jumps out of his shuttle (not knowing the ragnarok was there) to go get rinoa, basically he was ready to kill himself just to hold rinoa before she died, ( /me cries)

or n ff9 when alexanders and bahamut were battling it out, or,... lets see, in the ending when the play they started in the beginning of the game comes back and zidane pops out of the hood, and garnet rushes to see him, (/me cries again)

i love the final fantasy series, if you sleep the kind of hours i do, (not much at all), you really really get into the game,

ending of FFVIII, and ofcourse when Aeris gets killed by sephiroth.

I've had some 'shocking' moments in games, when I was like "oh my god I never expected that" but I cant remember those games

yeah only metal gear solid 2 really (but that aint an RPG), on the end with the final word about the patriots (not gonna spoil it for people who dont know about it, and play the game)
