yea...and whats the point when all u get from mods and team members is...yea well if u dont like it then make ur own game...or respect the team for what they've done...there have been tons of awesome suggestions on how to make the game better...one that went to like 6 pages which was made by me and what did it get?...nothing...it was ignored just like 99% of all the suggestions that have been made...

*Cough*Bull*****cough* Tons of current and future features were taken from community suggestions. Just because the team wants to make their own mod and not totally rely on the forum community doesn't mean they aren't listening. If you don't like it, "go make your own game," because the team are the people making the mod.

and about the whole combos making the game too unfair...thats just dumb...i promise u...if i fight someone with adv melee...they wont lay a finger on me unless its prepunches or randoms...thats y noone likes the melee...because if u fight someone with the hand eye coordination of a 3 year old then u wont touch them with adv melee...and i dont give a rats ass what u say about it...u can try to say "o well u just havent fought anyone decent"...bs...ive fought everyone from halorin to ape gohan to the random noob in a server and none of them can touch me with adv melee...

and really...if u dont like the threads DONT READ THEM...dont even waste your time...u wanna tell ppl not to play the game if they dont like it...well if u dont like the threads...dont read them...its that simple...

@Niobe-> Can't help you. First off the game is steam friendly because won ends before July does. Double tap swoop is being worked on. If you hate everything about all forms of melee, the wall jumps, the explosions, the swoop speed/turbo speed ki cost and the physics then why do you play? It sounds like you hate way more than you enjoy.

i reckon speed should stay the way it is now , infact speed should be revised for 1.2 speed is fairly evened out , speed does need to be revised in 1.3 for an obvious reason : more transing (it should just be the normal and 1st trans forms speeds that need to be revised and pushed a little lower)

If u make the 1trans speeds a "lil lower" when 1.3 comes out. And amp up the speeds while we are waiting, it totally kills the feeling of going into a 2nd or third transformation if it feels the same speed as is it did in 1.2 :| I'ma trust the team on doing this properly

The team never 'hyped up' 1.2 melee system at all actually. They constantly stated it a 'work in progress'. It was the forum goers that hyped it up. And if we went on your theory on not releasing a product until it's 100percent finished then... seeing how esf is a beta... :| Yeah.... exactly. No esf at all. I really don't think it's fair to get on the team about implementing a feature that's 'work in progress'... when infact the whole mod is work in progress. :\ Sounds really weird to say you don't want any "work in progress" in a beta. : D

Wait, what's that, I think you're on to something....There have been tonnes... of... awesome... SUGGESTIONS! The fans don't make this mod, the team does, and if they don't want to use the suggestions, they don't have to, it's THEIR mod.

You also claim, that the 1.1 elites hate 1.2... this may be the case, but unfortunately, their S.O.L because as long as the majority is happy, the team isn't changing **** for you. People can create all these hate threads, and rant about this and that, and all this **** that can make ESF better, when the bottom line is... As long as the masses are pleased, the team isn't changing ****.

If it's not broke, don't fix it. (And the opinions of the minority does not qualify as broken.)

you can take a poll on the forums asking people what they like better, 1.1 or 1.2. 1.2 will win by a mile, but like 90 percent of the people that voted 1.2 don't play the damn game. Do you know who plays the thing? The people that would have voted 1.1.

I'm not trying to say it should be changed for us, I'm just saying that almost everyone that says they love 1.2 on the forum doesn't play it. Go figure ><

cuz i controll the Adv.melee and it ownz , have u ever tried to use Adv.Melee + Basic ?

Honestly, this may sounds like im sucking up or something, but I dont see how all of you even have the guts to complain. The ESF team have taken time out of their personal life to create, manage, and update this amazing game. They were able to create a masterpiece on the Half Life engine. In my opinion this game is far better then any mod for HL out there. They came up with an innovative way to make huge maps, they balanced the game in an amazing way, and now theyve also started a brand new melee system. Now some of you are complaining about the patch being delayed so much. Do you know why the patch is being delayed? For the sole purpose of making it better. This is also why the team doesnt announce release dates, because if they happen to miss it by one day the same people that are complaining about the patch will probably go off at the team like wild animals. It seems that you are all taking the teams effort for granted. Remember, this game is free, this game is theirs, and this game is amazing.

Now, about the suggestions not being read. Do you really expect the team to include every single suggestion made by the community? Not to mention they already have a work load on their hands with adding all the extra transformations, which is plently of models and skins and what not. Plus, most of the threads there use such poor English its sad to read.

Thank you ESF team for making such a great game, keep it up.
