Uhm, my advance options are strange..

uhm this may sound a bit noobish but, yeah whatever..

How come when everytime i config my advance options (like enabling mp3 and choosing beam quality etc.) and restart esf, all of the things I changed and enabled (in advance options) has been reset?? (like mp3 aren't enable anymore etc.) =(

Oh and another thing, when i set "FX quality" to like high, press ok and open up the advance option screen again it is set to low and if i press ok and open up the advance screen again it is set to high... and so it goes on forever. It would be really great if someone could help me fix these stupid errors, cuz except from the errors, esf is THE Ultimate HL MOD. :yes:


(oh and, i think i had these problems with 1.1 too) =/

cl_mp3player 1 for the mp3 player (which you can do ingame)

Make sure you click APPLY when you set them up in controls.

If you still have problems, you can edit config.cfg.

yeah it worked, thx! (i put: cl_mp3player "1" in the config.cfg file) ^^

..but what about all the other things like; 3dparticle system ,beam and fx quality and 24bit-textures??

Try looking their for cvar commands

Obvious ones like cl_beamquality

not just the mp3 but the 24 bit and the rocks and everything?

cl_3drocks 1

cl_fxquality can be 1, 2 or 3, 1 is lowest, 2 is medium and 3 is highest.

the one for 24bit-textures, i know i'm a PAIN IN THE ASS but could you please tell me what the 24bit-texture cvar is? :laff:
