Trunk's Sword sumary in my opinion

Sonic, people don't always play for the advantage. If that was so, nobody would play Trunks at all, everyone would be Goku or Buu or Cell or whatever.

Why would you NOT use the sword? Style ^_^ I intend to beat the crap out of people with my fists until I think they're very weak, then whip out the sword and slice them in half. Why? Mainly because the idea of slicing someone and having them fly away like they got kicked is completely retarded to me, but also because it's STYLISH!

It's too bad sliced bodies aren't in 1.1 I was kinda hoping for that :\

Well the one good point to having a sword that doesn't do extra initial damage is that they'll have to hit you as many times you as hit them to keep up. No new character will get an edge by slamming you into the wall with a sword for 4x normal damage. I think new players will try him for the sword, but grow tired of his low speed and tactical beams (Non-spammable).

And I guess I see the point of using "style," but it would still cause me some confusion in the middle of a fight. Somebody swoops at me while I'm throwing out a beam... I cut to block and switch to melee, only to pull out my fists when a sword is what I wanted. I guess I'd survive the addition though.

2nd, the trunks sword sound? don't worry about it.
sounds are DEAD easy to change, im sure plenty of people will find replacements if it annoys you

The sliced bodies (half-models i think your talking bout) are just that and according to the team will be in later versions.
ie kill someone with a sword and they will be cut into two distint pieces, same goes with disc as i understand it. Does that help it all Chansey

Wow, you people ***** and complain alot. Who cares if the sword isn't all it's cracked up to be? Most of you havn't even used the sword yet (including me), so don't be quick to judge.

hallelujah! ghostface killh said it perfectly. u havent used it yet, dont complain. so what sound are bad as can be... no offense sound guy of esf team. sephiroth said that u can find new sounds, so find them when it comes out
