Its Very Easey !!!
- First get steam.
- After instalation u start steam .
- Now start half life [Steam Version] And quit it after u have started it.
(This wil create the Half life folder in steam witch we need for ESF.)
- Now shut down steam.
- Then run the ESF instaler [The one i usesd was the steam version]
U can get it here :
- All u got 2 do now is next/next/install/Finisch [Or whatever u have to do.]
- Now start steam and u see an ESF link in ur third party games section.
- Start ESF
- Now comes the tricky part.
Go to options then go to video => if u have an old graphics card use D3D
(Direct 3-D).
With old i mean GF2 (G-Force 2) or older, then set ur resolution not
higher then 1024*768 Now U can Run The Game.
If it still craches use A lower resolution, if thad Dous not help use
software mode
- All the people with a new graphics card just skip the last part !
and use OpenGL

Why D3D if my GF2 suports OpenGL?
Well 2 possible problems, steam hates ur graphics card or the makers of ESF changed something in ESF 1.1 version. [I know it Worked before in OpenGL]
Can i fix this problem?
Yes u can; install Half life and play on Won.
Just instal the basic driver of ur graphics card ( witch u get when u buy it)
Or u just buy a new graphics card, there is no other Solution !
How do i config my server?
Just get ESF tool its easey to use/ user-friendly and has all the stuff u need
