Steam Connecting Error (no help in other threads)

I'm frustrated with this...
(i've checked all the other threads... not one help me with my problem)

well i had this game working for me on MY computer, but my computer is gone now... ****ed up... anyways. I installed it on this one i'm on, And when i try to connect to an internet game, it runs through the normal loads (Steam i'm talking about), then, Parsing Game Info... (computer is loading stuff) then i'll hear a small sound from the game, and it crashes (the sound repeats, ya know... like when something freezes).

Anyways iunno what to do. I installed it right, and everything. I did exactly what i did on my other computer... i even brought all my hardware settings down on this one... and still nothing. does the same thing each time. I have NOT gotten this game to work on this computer yet.

what connection do u be on, also has it don't it on multi servers or just one

i'm on Cable, and yes it does it on all the servers.

im haveing this problem now... the game dosnt crash it just dosnt finish loading, i can exit just fine or return to the main menu, but not cancel the loading
