Were not saying that its bug free, thats close to impossible... Its going to be less buggy then alpha 2.0, but bug free is pretty damn hard. We will try to release additional patches after beta 1's release to add additional gameplay + bug fixes.

Aproxametly 10 days ago you guys where at about 80% done of Beta 1 and it said expected date of release Summer of 2002. I got this from Moddb or somthing liek that "Mod Database" site.

just like beta testers who play a game, and if they find any bug they note it on a piece of paper with what happend with the bug, possible solve of the bug.

you can make time as long as all or nearly all bugs are out. i would say all majority bugs and minority bugs must be completely solved. if u cant find the solve for one minority bug then it doesnt matter.

whats a typical minor bug and a typical "big" bug for you?

i would not say 80% will say that it is coming out the next 2 weeks.

look at that:

Alpha 2.0 came out 17.11.01.

todays date is 25.7.02.

252 days.

if u can maths u know how long it can last until beta.

ok i say it.

63 Days. this means it is 2 month until release.

hmm but i hope they didnt begin makin beta after alpha release.

so if they work on it now 126 days, u only have to wait 1 month!.

hhmmm but i hope they mean that they are nearly done at 90 % or 95 % wud be sweet to only wait 1 2 3 or 4 weeks.

Big bugs are " if it crashes the game" and "if it destroys gameplay" once we find none of those types of bugs then we will release and not any sooner. Little things like it does a flip and a half when u do a black flip (somehting that hapens now), that is a small bug and does not kill the game. Right now we know of a few nasty ones in the game. We fixed one today with the blocking power strugels (hars=da man). Im prety confident that the release will be crash free we have some mean testers who try everything to kill the server. Hope that helps clear that up.

oh and master-dorn, thats a pretty interesting concept thier, but sorry, it has nothing to do with when we will release. But thats better than i could do, i can't remember when we release anything . Of cousre i can't remember when i changed my underwear last either.

Umm LOL sorry Cucumba! And i know for a fact they were at 80% not to long ago (11 days and 13 hours ago) check mod database ( http://www.moddb.com )check for yourselves and there expecting it to be released this summer. Dun believe me belive Mastasurf he posted this stuff at Moddb.

Yes i would say 80% mabey 90%, but once we reach 100% done that just means we have everything we planned in. After that its test time and thier is no real knowing on how long that will be. As of now are testing has been mainly 4 people on a server. So who knows what may arise when we increase the server load.

it is easy, go to fileplanet, to mod section of hl, then click esf, there is alpha 2.0 and it says as date 17.11.01.

i cant remember when i last gone to bath to clean up my body.

the esf team is really good. one aspect of them whats better, is that they dont release their stuff because of n00bs or newbies want it so.
