my opinion on the current Melee system:
1: unguided melee
-Press the button and ram
-Useful if im just knocking someone across the screen
-Only part of the current melee system i like cause its intuitive and dynamic
2: targeted melee
-Left-clicking to "lock" target, then proceed with option 1
-Frankly, this is the following:
a: Doesnt aid ya for jack flip
b: is a waste of time tryint to "lock" onto a fast moving target
c: a waste of 2 mice buttons
d: wheres that dang "box" i keep hearing about. maybe i need to reinstall
- u could say that i dispise it, but not as much as....
3: DDR mode
-not even gonna explain how that works
-confusing purpose
-waste of excellent animation sequences
-may as well play Budokai on PS2 if i wanna punch codes
-speaking of codes, WTF is that Star looking thingy suoopsed to be?
the "manual" neglects to explain. Is it supposed to be some secret?
4: Throw mode
- Melee attack resulting in throw sequence
- Is there actually a purpose to having a struggle meter for throws? Its
not like anyone can struggle free. And if this not true, explain how its done in
the manual. More secrets for the initiated, i guess
- Core reason why there should be a Stamina Bar. U wanna Throw me? Then your
stamina vs. my Ki. that would be fair. Yopu pay the Ki price to use, I can pay
to force myself free. No spam , no foul. Everybody's happy.
Some of ya may say "well ya been playing only 3 days, go practice and get over it. Its only a game". This is true to a point
Butnoone can practice an arcane system such as this , especially when half the moves are cheapened to the point where very few ppl actually have fun, but ***** at each other instead in frustration.
anyways, enough mindless ranting
Update the "manual.
Add a Stamina bar
End the mindless, careless spam and show real skill
(and explain wtf im supposed to do to get out of those damn throws
)
