Return of the king, final level, HELP!

I am on the final level with the Return of the king game.
I have to play with frodo, but how the hell do i defeat smeagol, i can´t get him off the kliff.... HEWLP MEEJ!
I played for 3 strait hours but couldnt beat this level...

Hit him around until he's off balance at the edge. Then use the physical attack button to push him off. Then when he's hanging on the ledge use the ground-kill button to knock him off. Rinse and repeat.
