Do you really want to mess with DTs animations that badly :eek:
I highly doubt animations have anything to do with this.

If you ask me, it'd be a neat feature.

I was asked to check this out. Did that and decided, we won't do that, because we are lazy and other reasons. And it's not that easy, but you wouldn't know unless you tried doing something like that on GoldSrc.

Wow, talk about obnoxious...
I could see how 360 degree movement would be cool when you're messing around (flying upside down and such), but it would be good for just that: messing around. When people are actually fighting seriously, I don't see how it would have practical use. Then again, I could be wrong. Just my opinion.

Once you are upside down, your camera controls are inverted.

Why would that happen? In BFP, your entire perspective was upside down so the controls stayed the same.

Im just taking wild guesses. So nothing official.

Guess i forgot to take in to consideration that the camera also turns upside down.

Then again that would probably screw with our camera provider.

The way I always pictured it being was similar to flying in a flight/combat flight simulator, where being able to completely loop around would lead to incredible evasive maneuvers that were both effective and visually stimulating, increasing the depth of movement and combat while also adding an extra dimension with which to play and occupy.

I remember messing with pitch control in 1.1, it was kinda of fun. If I remember correctly 145 ish was a good number to play around with depending on sensitivity, you could make some funky maneuvers and totally mess with the person your fighting with. If one used it, it was kinda like advanced melee.......tactics wise, for the time.

It'd be cool if it wasn't locked but it's not really hindering game play not being in either.

Oh and I saw the OP (went by the same name) in game moments before he made this thread, he was talking about pitch control and I told him pretty what I've said above so I'm the "source" he was talking about.
