You know, Majin_You brought up a very good point. What I find sad about today's gamers is that most of us are blinded by shiny graphics and what not. Actually, people who play ESF probably arent those types of gamers, but theyre out there and theres plently of em. The only reason I dont like the Xbox is because the console itself is huge, plus the controllers I remember playing with were bulky and clumsy. Plus, IMO it had a few too many buttons in a few too unreachable places. (Not take me literaly, you could reach it, but it wasnt too easy to go from one to the other quickly if you needed too.) I like the PS2 because its smaller, more compact and has just as many good games. PS2 doesnt really have that "oh it has better games" thing going for it anymore, but IMO the gameplay is plainly better on the PS2. Plus, its about time that the Xbox got better games, except that PS3 is supposed to come out in 2005, which aint too far away. And when it comes to PS2 or Xbox2, well, personally Id go for PS3 because Microsoft are gonna go for building their own chips this time and since its the first time theyre doing it for the Xbox, well, lets just say that Sony has paired up with IBM and some other company (Probably just a big nice bonus, because IBM kicks ass.) to make their own chips this time, and they got that whole "cell" thing going on.
Bah, what the hell am I talking about? Right now Id say save your money and wait a year or so. However if you must buy a console right now, you gotta ask yourself:
"Am I going for higher specs and better graphics, or easier and better gameplay?"
