Hello everyone,
I am proud to announce that I've just launched my comics website- Hitting Trees with Sticks.com.
Comedy and art have a always been a part of my life, but I've never had a cool, unique place to share these interests.
About a year ago, I was looking to do a project that would combine my interests in comedy and art, but also give me a chance to sharpen
my development skills, It was around this time I stumbled upon a comic website in which the creator designed, developed, wrote and drew
everything by himself. This inspired me to start writing my own comics and crack open a couple books on web development.
I wrote out a plan of how I would I build the website, and at the same time began building a fan base using Facebook.
As I started sharing comics, my fan base grew...
As of two days ago, I am pleased to announce that I've produced over 50 comics, and have reached 50,000 fans.
Here's a quick snapshot of my fan base growth since creating the Facebook page in early May.
In addition, my latest post on the minor differences between men and women in showering has reached almost 3,000 fans, and has been shared almost 300 times.
This beat out my next most popular post by over 2,400 fans.
Click http://www.facebook.com/HittingTreesWithSticks here to see it.
So, after many hours of hard work, I finally have my very own website to share my comics and artwork with the world!
Before I release it to the world, I would like your help in running through test cases that I have outlined.
To access these test cases, please follow these instructions:
1) First, load my comics website: http://www.hittingtreeswithsticks.com/
2) Then go to the test cases: http://hittingtreeswithsticks.blogspot.com/ (This is not my web site, this is just an easy way to share images of my test cases)
3) Click on the images
Extra) If you want, you can also see my development process.
- On the top of the image is how the page looked
- On the bottom of the image is how my architecture of the site changed
This is only just the beginning. More comics and updates to come!
