Problems Running a Dedicated Server of ESF

Hi Fellas!

First of All I'm Gonna Introduce MySelf.

I'm BoMuS from JuegosOnline.Com and WebMaster of Day Of DefeaT ArgenTina.

I tried ESF a few days ago, and I think it's Great. We at JO have CS, DoD and one FLF Server running now and i'd like to put up a ESF Server.

My problem is this, does ESF works with HLDS 4.1.0.9 ???

Coz i tried to run it with it and had no luck

Please Someone Answer This.

Go to your Private Messaging box, and send a PM to him or post this thread in the Coding section!! I hope that u can get the server to work!! ESF really needs a dedicated server!!

Yes, when using 4.1.0.9, the HLDS crashes as soon as a client connects. However it works just fine when using the dedicated server option from "normal" HL interface. :-?

I saw something about a bug-fix for HLDS on PHL's newsletter. You might want to check there. It concerns Linux and CS HLDS cheifly, but it may help.

The HLDS has No Normal HL Interface My Friend

I meant when you go Internet Games > Create Game > check dedicated server in Half-Life1.0.0.9/Counter-Strike1.0.0.4.

This particular issue only concerns windows esforces server (there are no linux files for esf - yet ? ). I did run the update to 4.1.0.9B - problem persists. :/

So ESF runs fine with the HLDS 4.1.0.8 but doesn't works with the 4.1.0.9 ???
