Plot-Holes in movies that take away from the experience.

yeah, i watch a little UFC but in the movies its not good form to watch them fight "practically\realistically" - the audience pays the price of admission to watch e.g. Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan or whoever to kick seven shades of snot out of the opponent in a stylish, flashy and cool manner.

Though with actors (and i use the term very loosely) like Jean Claude Van Dam, it is blindingly obvious.

Terminator 1: Seeing as the whole concept behind Terminator 1 was retro active abortion . ie. kill the person before they're even born by killing their mother. doesn't it mean that unless the terminator kills the first living ancestor to the connor family, that Sarah Connor will still be born, giving birth to John Connor and thus the leader of the rebellion?

Matrix 3, the original Oracle is dead, so instead of just going on with a different actress and acting like nothing ever happened. Nope, they invent this bull**** of reason why the Oracle looks differently. Was I the only one that noticed that as soon as the second Matrix came out, that you hardly ever saw anyone like extras in the matrix except for the main actors?

It was like the matrix became devoid of all other humans so Neo and Smith could have there uber fight scenes. I swear the only thing lacking at the end of the final fight scene between Neo and Smith was a beam struggle. I swore I was going to see two Kamehameha’s come crashing into each other when they were in the air.

The original actress who played the Oracle, Gloria Foster, died. So obviously they needed a new actress to play the Oracle otherwise it was going to be very difficult to shoot Revolutions. But you're suggesting that they just should have made the change and not explained it? I think most people would have been even more confused by a new face and new reason why the old, lovable Oracle was gone.

I don't want to get into any fights/discussions about the Matrix trilogy. A lot of people seem to be displeased, to say the least, about the 2nd and 3rd movies. But I needed clarification on what you meants by what you said.

More importantly...I don't see how an inanimate piece of machinery can have the ability to take over the mind of the person it's plugged into, WITHOUT the prior programming to do so. It's farfetched enough WITH that particular aspect, but lacking it just killed it for me a little.

They made Doc Oc appear like a good guy in the movie, controlled by the arms. In the comics he was actually crazy, there was no such thing as an inhibitor chip. Then again, the whole movie has few similarities to the real thing. Spider-man never had web coming out of his hands, the timeline is screwed up, he loses his powers because the mutation starts to take over for the "final form" not because he's having some women problems (though i'm sure it didn't help) They'll probably jump right into Venom with the 3rd movie just because everyone wants it.

this isnt a plot hole but its definetly an inconsistancy...... in kill bill 1, when uma is at hanzo's place, she has very long hair, tied up. she leaves there, arrives at the tokyo airport, and her hair is ALOT shorter! maybe she got a haircut? no! because moments later in the club she has long spakin hair again! if u wanna see what i mean watch the two mentioned scenes.

In Terminator 3: Arnold and Hotness Personified are fighting in that bathroom. It's an awesome fight...but unfortunately, there's CG water spraying everywhere and neither of the terminators are getting wet. I was VERY disappointed to not see a moistened version of her.

Little things don't bother me, honestly. Like, I won't think a movie is stupid because of one minor plot hole. It's people who freak about that stuff that usually get on me about it, honestly.

There are some movies that are entirely plot holes. Catwoman immediately "pounces" to mind.

matrix 1 or 2.. dont really know but i dont care since i dont like the matrix =P
it's where this car chase is and the chick .. triny or something .. jumps on a ducati motor and she just rides off.
but that's kind of impossible because when motors are being transported they dont have any fuel in them...
so that was like... not cool to see lol.

i think catwoman does belong here...i got in for free and i could only bare about 10 minutes, then i left. it was just an abomination

With Cypher being as crafty as he was, I have no problem imagining Cypher doing this while:

A) the crew was sleeping
B) the ship was at broadcast depth

Cypher was shown using the operator terminals in one scene prior to that, and Trinity also appeared to be able to set up a run in the construct. It's completely possible that Cypher had an automated script to let him in and out of the matrix.
