OMG I have a weird sort of virus... help me out

Once in a while, when i click "Send message" on icq, the text:

I like this, http//213.113.187.60

...pops up. It pops up as if it was i who sended it. And it is being sent to almost everyone i chat with... it is quite a clever little virus, as it can be sent to anyone... my anti-virus program doesnt detect it, so what do u think i should do? Does anyone else here on the forums have the same problem?

If this happens to you, tell the person u sended the message to NOT TO CLICK THE LINK. Or else he gets the virus. I have already by mistake sent it to 2-3 people, and i hope it doesnt happen again. If it does, im gonna stop using ICQ.

i never heard from this virus.
maybe it helps to reinstall, or did u try it alreday??
when ur virus is killed, get an firewall, mybe this helps

does someone send u somethingand said something like: "hey, test thi, this i v ery cool"
i will help as best as i can, i wanna try to get some informations how to kill the virus

The text contains only "I like this," and then your own IP adress, and a weird port number.

UPDATE: I was scanning C:, when i found a trojan. Wonder if its the icq virus... oh well, im not done scanning yet.

I scanned my harddrive and found just one trojan. I hope thats the end of the virus, but we will see when i talk to Hibiki lol

Anywhoo, ICQ/AIM/MSN/YIM/Trillian are all weak spots in your firewall. So be careful O_O

try updateing your virus definations and then if it dosen't show up back up all your information the important stuff on a disk if you have a burner if you don't make sure what file has the virus and don't touch it if have a network u can transfer all the important stuff on the network and Reformat your computer it deletes everything on Drive c:

just go into DOS

d:\

format c:

yes


and then you reinstall windows and it is gone
