Well.... yea i guess i'll get flamed for giving a visual suggestion instead of gameplay but i think the gameplay is ok as it is.
anyway when i was playing Crysis i noticed that whenever you throw or destroy anything the object becomes blurred. It's kind of hard to explain since i haven't been online in quite some time and my english way of thinking got a bit rusty... anyway it looks like this

If you could add this as an option i think it would look pretty awesome when fighting... it would give the feeling of speed and give that DBZ feel where you can't see the punches because they're too fast.

You mean motion blur? I don't know if this is already planned, but I guess this is a nice suggestion. :S

Yeah, I like the idea too. Players who get punched/blown could be motion blured temporary.

I honestly think blur is way overused.

True but it could be an option so you wouldn't have to use it. IMHO Blur in small doses(not strain your eyes to see anything at all type of blur) can give that great feeling of speed which i think is essential to DBZ

that's true for dashing and flying but what about when fighting. Instead of seeing your character or your enemies punch/kick clearly it could be blurred to give a sense of speed. Idk imho i feel that that would give that anime feel

Blur in anime is usually only used in distance and focusing shots.
