I like my steam games in my steam folder so it's redundant for me

I can imagine it being useful for people who have smaller hard drives or people are are super picky about where stuff goes

Well, it's good for those that have smaller SSD drives, like myself, where I like to have Steam on there but not specifically Team Fortress 2 due to it being 10+ GB )

But the funny thing is, mentioning the Team Fortress 2 example, I seriously believe that I did something like this already? By going into the games preferences in steam and then setting the game location? I can be mixing it with Origin and Battlefield 3 however, I'm on my laptop at parents house so can't look it up. But for sure, it's a good feature to have and many people will probably use it!

Did you do it recently Baaja? You've been able to do this with steam for about the past 3 or 4 days to my knowledge.

Nope, got home now and checked it up...was BF3 I was thinking about. But dang, now I have to do some copy pasting to my steam install! Gotta put it on the SSD.

Or you could just install Steam on a separate big hdd and the problem is solved.
Other that that... it's a good feature.

Well I like to keep the games I play most on my SSD, while games I play rarely on a normal HDD.

Screw that. I want my damn download speed limiter, so that i dont have to shut the downloads completely off because STEAM is hogging the entire bandwidth >.>
