I hope to avoid that, so I'm going to try and level with you. I don't give a shit about the feud between you and everyone else on this forum. I only care about what matters, which happens to be Dogma. When you insult him like you have, you insult not only a true hero, but everything that hero stood for, everything that hero fought for, and everything that hero died for. I won't tolerate it, and I doubt anyone else around here will either.
I'm going to assume that you have no idea who Dogma is -- I can't imagine that you would make these ignorant and inflammatory comments otherwise. In his honor I'm going to attempt to enlighten you, although I do ask that you bare with me, as the overwhelming importance and character of the man is really quite hard to comprehend. The legend surrounding Dogma has grown to such an extent that it can be difficult at times to tell what is real and what is fable. Some say that he was born at the exact moment The Nix graced this 'Verse with her presence, but this of course is not true. The greatness of Dogma comes from the fact that he was but a man. Dogma has shown has us that great men of courage, virtue, and perhaps little wisdom can do extraordinary things, things that make the gods tremble with fear and all the 'Verse shudder in terror.
There was a great war, Blue. A terrible, horrifying, unspeakable war. When I say unspeakable, I do mean that I cannot speak of it, or else the mods and admins of forum shall see to it that I never speak another word here ever again. Suffice it to say that the Imperial Legions of The Nix fought they who shall not be named for fear of retribution, and the Imperial Legions fought valiantly. But it seemed as if the fight was in vain. The great enemy spread across the 'Verse as a plague, slaughtering countless innocents, legionaries, and even their own kind without distinction. Even when all hope seemed lost Dogma fought alongside the Imperial Legions -- He stood side by side with the fodder fighting bravely for what he believed in.
It didn't have to be this way. Dogma was the last of The Great Kai Kings, and kingliest of The Kings. Donned in a white cloak, he was a magnificent site to behold. When he first came to the Imperial Legions he held a position of true power and, quite possibly, a reputation as one that one could love and respect. He certainly held a high enough rank to indefinitely command those he presided over into battles that would undoubtedly result in their deaths from the safe confines of a battle-center, but this was not enough for Dogma. He wanted to fight alongside his men. That's the type of person Dogma was.
And so the war waged on and Dogma's reputation as a commander grew. His reputation was not one of a competent commander, mind you, as he was anything but that, but you really got the sense that Dogma truly cared about his men that he was leading to their deaths.
Dogma was always saying that he was going to finish the fight, and in a way he did. He made the ultimate sacrifice for us, a sacrifice that we all share in, for who wants to live in a world that is devoid of Dogma? Dogma was communicating with us at the time it happened -- They ambushed him while he was out in their territory attempting to capture one of the monstrosities for torture and sacrifice. Thousands of them jumped on him, clawing and maiming our hero, before finally erecting him on a cross and burning him to death.
We saw the entire thing live thanks to his tele-communicator. It was terrible. But this noble sacrifice finished the fight -- Dogma served as a powerful rallying cry for our forces, a martyr in a time of need. Perhaps more importantly, now that Dogma was no longer commanding any troops in battle, we began to win, so much so that the war was won a mere days later.
Dogma was given the title Dogmanix and will live forever in our hearts and minds. Until he returns again.
