Shut up, I know theres a big ass watermark on it. I used Maya. No need to comment about it, lolar.

Well, I worked on this for a bit, it's my first model I've done besides making retarded cubes and what not.

OMFG HORRIBLE LAWL YOU'RE NEVER GONNA MODEL AGAIN.

Nah man it's fine, some of the little buttons and **** are a little high poly but whatever, IT'S YOUR FIRST MODEL- IT'S A LEARNING EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL GET BETTER, GOOD LUCK WITH ALL YOUR FUTURE MODELING EN DEVOURS.

I'm gonna start modeling a lot more now, so I just got a question.

How bad is it to get used to modeling with Booleans-->difference as opposed to moving verticies around?

I'm gonna try to model an xbox 360 / controller right now, and I was simply wondering, because Booleans I know is buggy, but it's a good way to do it :x

Dude, there's a watermark on there. What the **** man?
I'm kidding =)
That's really good for a first model. Keep it up.

Okay, so I got bored and decided to model my favorite brand of pencils : ]

Tried making it as detailed as possible, with the clear outer shell + the black cylinder inside.

Was kind of fun : D

Lastly: Here's the small scenery I made up. I kind of wanted to toy around with lighting since I'm still kind of new. But hey, it was kinda fun :D

Any crits/comments? :D

+10 to whoever guesses what I'm making hehe

edit: before anyone flips a *****, I'm not even caring how much my poly count is, haha. it explains why there's so much; I just want to make an as-detailed-as-i-can whatever i'm making

forgot how fun modeling was.

I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. I'm pretty done with the drums and such, I need to make the pedal, the stand, and that's about it.

I'm worried about the pedal though :(

Really nice works Maybe sometime before the you have been modelling?
If you're asking how long I've been modeling, if you look at my "first real model" (the first post in the thread) it says I posted it roughly March 2nd, 2008. So that's about the time I've been giving modeling a REAL shot.
