ok i followed the tuturiol on like gangwars.com or something like that ( i saw it in a thread here) and i did what it told me, i installed halflife to the steam/steamapps/eamail/half-life or whatever and it doesnt work. Aparently according to the website its suppposed to be under counter-strike and all that in "Third Party Games" section, but there is no section in my steam after i installed esf to the half-life folder in steam directory. Also if i try to open the shortcut it put on my desktop it says it cant find the hl.exe file. Can someone please help? Ive been trying to fix this for a couple weeks and its pissing me off ;(

xsmeagolx i have the same problem to...I instealled ESF 1.1 on my computer and it doesn't show up on steam..so i clicked on the icon and it loads up COunterstrike 1.6 on steam...what the heck..som1 help me plz e-mail me at [email protected] or post a reply on this forum..(i would rather u e-mail me)

seeing that you did install in the right directory, I guess you overlooked ESF in the games menu
After you installed the mod, load steam > Games > third party mods > ESF V1.1
Double click it and your done
actually you are in ESF, but ESF doesn't have a background for steam yet, so it shows the counter-strike one.psdk10016 said:
