Hey im new to this mod and i just wanted to ask a few questions. I play counter-strike, and it works fine with steam, no problems what so ever. Will installing a 3rd party mod such as this affect cs in any way or possibly steam not working. If so please let me know thanks.

one of my friends got problems after installing HL Rally, the skybox of every map got messed up, it was changing randomly when he was looking around. for me everything is working fine with mods

I recieve no problems whatsoever as well. It's only a few people that cannot get steam to work right, but back on topic now...
Do not be concerned, I have a total of 14 third-party mods installed on my steam, including HLRally. It has not changed things one bit. The third party mods go in the Half-Life directory, not in the Counterstrike directory, so there's no way CS could be affected anyway.
The problem after installing HLRally was probably a coincidence.
