If your server name is for example

Acecoolco.com Small dl (No Melee)
and click ok

it will goto console and then crash
if it is shorter
Acecoolco.com (No Melee)
It doesnt crash

Hmm, that should be your ESF only, i tried this one on my pc, and it didn't crashed with me... But what kinda server did you put on? Linux, dedicated,...?? And it's possible that your pc just chrashed cuz ESF did something wrong and not because the server name was too long...

Well, Windows 2000 professional service pack 3 with full updates, latest drivers for everything...

1.1 ghz amd athlon 512 ddram (runs like one of my friends 2ghz pentium 4s)

C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike.exe -console -zone 9000 -heapsize 250000 -nojoy -game esf

I use that to get into esf...

Hmm, try to remove that -zone and -heapsize thing, i think that those are CS-bot specific....
