i dont play esf and dbz is the same every episode. they either talk for ever or fight. name one episode where they do something other than

fight, talk about upcoming bad guys, train, or go somewhere to fight other bad guys

that's pretty simple actually.. why would they show the weaklings in the show? Like if u watch a soap they don't show u the boring stuff neither do they? Allthough, it is weird how they suddenly get 10 times stronger all the time

DBZ sucks! I play ESF in order to beat the crap out of as many DBZ Characters as I can.

Okay, that was a joke but I still think that would be a good reason for an avid DBZ hater.

And am I the only person who thought that the Buu saga was the best of all of them? I mean at least it was different from all the other sagas.

Saiya-Jin Saga: Goku beats super strong warriors by himself.

Frieza Saga: Goku beats super strong warriors by himself.

Cell Saga: Gohan beats super strong warriors by himself.

Buu Saga: Goku, Vegeta, Fat Buu, Mr Satan, people of Earth.. etc.. gang up in order to beat super strong warrior.

(Note: I compressed the whole series down into four sagas to make it simpler. And I refuse to include the Trunks Saga because it was 3 episodes long. )

I get what you mean crayola. There is no background behind the series. Meaning something they do besides fight evil overlords. Then again what do you expect guys that can destroy planets with a single breath to do for a living? I guess fly from planet to planet protecting the universe from bad guys like Frieza but I think that would eventually get too easy.

i think of DBZ as a fight for power between Saiyans, and I guess from my way of thinking its good, but i can understand why people would dislike or even hate it because there isnt any background story.

Morrone if you would like to see some better anime series go get yourself trigun, cowboy bebop, serial experiment lain, neon genesis evangelion, rurouni kenshin, hellsing, inu yasha, a few gundams, outlaw star, tenchi muyo, and blue seed. Probably many more, but those are the majority of what I have seen so far and have found most to be very good.

Here are a few movies too:
Akira, ghost in the shell, blood: the last vampire, perfect blue, vampire hunter D: blood lust, and escaflowne the movie.

I Agree.

Lots of better animes are out there. Trigun, Lain, Mononokee Hyme, Gundam 0083, Evangalion, and HUNDREDS MORE

I have seen alot of the animes people are posting that are better than DBZ and they really.....aren't. Weather you like DBZ and/or what other animes you like more than it is based solely on personal tastes and interests.

Dbz is a okay anime , but what i cant stand is the way funamation is doing it. even their uncut tapes leave out all the good scenes and the funny parts not to metion they changed mr. satans name to hercule.

Of all the animes I've watched (Evangelion, Gundam Wing, X, Akira, Trigun, Outlaw Star, and Cowboy Bebop, to name only a small percent), DBZ is my favorite. Especiall the unedited version. I don't think the world of anime would ever be the same without the infamous Vegeta, and I really liked it after the Buu saga. The Cell saga sucked, and I'm just glad Toriyama redeemed himself. But I don't see why people hate the Buu saga so much, when it is the best of them all.

Vegeta's first true possession, Trunks and Goten as kids, the first fusions, SSJ3, a badguy that actually had ALL the warriors worried for a moment, a badguy that is near undefeatable, constantly changing, and having one of the cheapest, most powrful attacks of all (candy beam), Videl, Krillin with hair and better cloths, Vegeta's first sacrifice, Vegeta's first sign of true love for his family, and yes, even Kakarott, and the great Saiyaman!

The Buu saga was the best of them all, but I prefer the movies over all of it.

The only thing good about Buu Saga was quotes*points to sig*. The villian was ridiculous. They killed off most of the old main characters but Goku and Vegeta. SSJ3 might look cool but its ridiculous. Goten and Trunks were annoying. Mr. Satan wasted hours of dbz time. Vegeta's sacrifice being in vein was ridiculous. Gohan turning into a fa-g was ridiculous. Piccolo's intelligence being beaten by a vegtable was ridiculous. A person who was supposed ot be studying for 7 years being tricked by a blob ofpink goo was ridiculous. The way I spell ridiculous is ridiculous.

The dialouge is the only thing that makes Buu saga worth listening to

I like Piccolo not being considered some bossy nerd, but rather a comic relief. It's very...refreshing. Mr. Satan did waste time, but think, without him, how would Buu have turned good? Gohan didn't turn into a ***. He's the same as he was ever was, much like daddy (only younger and smarter). Buu has been around for over one hundred years...and someone who has been studying for 7 is supposed to outsmart him? Think about that for a moment.
