I'm surprised ImgBurn isn't up there under CD/DVD Burning

Also, considering a few people around here use it, you'd think Pidgin in the IM client section...

Lastly, as I can now vouch for its functionality and awesomeness (it successfully made a new partition out of an existing one on my lappy for installing Windows 7, as my lappy shipped with a single partition to house XP and everything else), GParted should definitely go under the partitioning section, especially since you can run it off of its own, LiveCD version of Linux.

I've updated the list with a new spoiler BB tag. This way, it is more cleaner and you can view over the software that you are searching for. Soon, it'll be filtered so it is alphabetic. If you have any more software to be added on the list, please reply.

You can add KeePass to that list, Sky. Oh, and you should fix the bb code on the first page.

I reformatted my system just a few minutes ago and found these sites that bundle programs for you. Turned out to be really useful considering I didn't have to manually go to Google and type out the programs that I needed. It downloads the programs that you want and installs them for you.

http://ninite.com - Supports Windows and Linux. I used this site, so I actually recommend this one.
http://www.freenew.net - Only Windows + Includes toolbar
http://allmyapps.com - Only Windows but has tons of other free apps. (They have a Ubuntu subdomain @ ubuntu.allmyapps.com)

For Macs: Mac App Store.

I can understand their coolness, but i'd rather deal with each program individually. I prefer it that way. It would be very helpful for normal users though.
