how to make a .cfg file?

hmmm i was reading the adv melee thing, and i changed some stuff, and i dont know how to make a .cfg file, so could you help

Open a text document. Save As "Name.cfg".

Done.

it says i couldnt load.

i see there are other files that are actual ".CFG" files.

mines just a text with .cfg at the end of the name.

if you open a CFG file.. its just text. making a notepad file, then renaming it to .cfg is the way to go. just like everyone above said :D

Make sure you have file extensions on, then change the name from name.txt to name.cfg

Omg, someone e-mailed me asking for the diffrent combos in the advanced mode, lol.

Yeah, everything is a text file. The .gam, .cfg, and .ini (most common ones you will see in HL community) are all text files with special names. Just use notepad as the default program to open all of these.

look man you set the esf however U wont it and than say in the console WRITECFG (name) that's all to put it exec (name).cfg
