Half life launcher crash...

Whenever I create a game as it is loading the map the game crashes leaving me with an error messages thats says:

"Half-Life Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I have tried changing my video settings and also completely reinstalling both half-life and ESF beta 1.0. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit:
about an hour after I posted I found my problem. It seems my AGP slot on my motherboard went out and I'll needa order a replacement. >_<

did you updated to 1.1.1.0? if not go here : http://games.sierra.com/games/half-life/support.html

if it still doesnt work... maybe comp to slow? if its fast enough.. maybe its your windows.
