Gunz - The Duel

I'll play a good session once every few days. Alea, level 15 or so.

I don't play often, but when I do, I play for at least a good 3 or 4 hours. I've found out that killing higher levels is the best way to level fast. Didn't realize that it actually gave you more XP, i used to just hunt them for satisfaction. Phatslugga - level 22.

yea. i'm level 9, its hard though, when i'm out classed equipment wise taking on 20's. But i still get lucky... rifle in the head, or nade the ground and run back,

do headshots do double damage or something?

Can i just say, rocket lauchers are utter rubish.
Had to get that off my chest.... (waves 2000g goodbye)
Splash damage is the good thing about them i suppose, but against full autos you havnt got a chance.

Im gonna have to dissagree with that.I have faced rockets with gunz,i win some but lose most.Besides what do you think the second arm slot is for?get rockets,and a gun.

duel subs is just cheap, and everyone uses them, its lame as hel, and it makes it difficult for me.

I use the level 5 rifle, and its *** when i actually have to aim, and the others can just needlessly spray and still kill me. I do love it when people try to dagger/sword me...

i jsut keep diving backards.... and blast em with my rifle, unless i'm against a wall, then i'll jump over them, turn around, dive backwards... shoot em with me rifle.

from what ive seen the best combination seems to be shotgun, dual subs, and a sword.

im forever a knife user though

I'm guessing you mean couldn't kill anything. I on the other hand, could indeed kill anything with it. It's a powerful weapon, the biggest problem is the crappy hit detection in Gunz, where it'll say you're hitting someone when you aren't, which happens all the time. If you get off a few direct shots on somebody you'll do major damage, and you can always switch to an auto to finish them off.

Yea my new weapon combo is the assualt rifle,shotgun,and duel swords.BTW i noticed in the game some ppl dont know the range they should shoot with that weapon.For example,a shotgun shoud be used for a more closed combat gun.

One thing I dislike about Gunz is the terrible netcode. It doesn't compensate for lag at all, and allows it to spike constantly.

I'm sure this might just be the cause and effect of an "international" server, but sometimes it's very annoying.

I won't tell you guys my exact strategy, but part of it:

There's a good way to get around Gunz' crappy hit detection. Because of the lag, people aren't usually where you see them. But the game gives you a lot of leeway with melee weapons. Charge up your melee weapon and hit somebody, and they'll be stunned for a moment--and their true position will be revealed. Then quickly switch to your shotgun/rocket launcher and blast away.

Alternatively, you can try the melee "right click" to launch them in the air, but anybody who knows what they're doing will recover from this before you can do anything.

That works only a idiots,noobs(no ofence) and soo on it never works on pros.... So NEVER try to attack somebody like that if your fighting a guy like what level 20 ... becous usualy people who have level 20 never get hit down.... and know how to counter eveything at least i know... and some people i fought

Alsow i hate people who consider using some weapon lame... God dam it first everbody yelled i used dagger and uzzis then that i used nades then that i used rocket for 1 day then that i used fast sword...
