It's been a long time but here are the updates

Made the UVWmap and started texturing,
I know that there are some small smoothing problems, but I will fix that as the project goes along.
I also know that the UVW space could have been more optimized but I wasn't in the mood for it then.
Maybe ill do it later because I've forgotten to UVW the vest :]

the body texture needs to be defined a little but the hair texture is perfect

madman when that render was shot I hadn't started on texturing the body, maybe it looks textured because of the shading and the smoothing-groups.

Here is where I am at the moment, almost done shaping out the body and the rest of the model.
Critz are welcome as always !

Textured body is worse than the untextured one.

Pants' texture i OK, but fix the shapes and make it more as in DBZ.

pants are ok... you dont need to do that to the model to look DBZ-ish
he needs to re-do the texture.... so the pants look DBZ-like... :yes:

Thanks for the advice I will change the texture of the pants
I wasn't really happy with it anyway...

I think I'm done with shaping out most of the model (except of course the pants)
and I'm pretty happy with it. Comments are welcome especially the dbz-anatomy
part will be helpful because I'm not very familiar with it.

Looks good so far. IMO you should make those neck thingies longer. And there's something I don't like about the belt. Its bottom shouldn't be wider than it's top. Also the belt should have those tie-thingies, like Goku until Android Saga.

made the belt more | | than / \. Also I made "those tie-thingies" but I dont know if
I will keep those because it would be a hell to animate them.

You can always remove them later if they prove troublesome to animate or just texture them on.

Nice. Looking forward in seeing the current version of the work. I'm glad you understood everything I said ^^. I myself wouldn't mind the "tie thingies" being removed.

He again.

Wanted to start rigging Gotenks but I came to 2 problems
1: Which character to replace ( I was thinking Krillin ore Gohan)
2: Which version of esf... ore are the models identical (skeleton and animation like).

the best one to replace would be gohan and use the 1.2.3 skeliton since rigging can be a little hard on the 1.3 skeliton also the 1.3 skeliton in incomplete with animations

well you could rig it for ESF 1.3 OpenBeta too...
and if you rig to to the ESF 1.2.3 skeleton... and if you will release it
be sure that i will rig it for ESF 1.3 ;)
