when that was originally made there were VERY VERY few 3d fighters, in that capcity and in that time period that game was one of the better games available, not thier fault games graphics and controls have improved, in its time it was almost the equivalent of doom 3 or half life 2 is now,


my crits to the skin,.... work on your cloth creases and folds, they look too,... hate to say it this way "pre zeq2" SV stuff, the folds just didnt look right at all, and it appears thus far that you are attempting a similar style, try to go for a more realistic look, its good practica and it looks better

nope budokai is the crappiest db game ever. (uuuhh fortnox hates me for that)
thats not a completely a pic from dbgt final bout its a rip from a dbz mugen char.

the only thing bothering me are the shoulders like majinzgohan said raise them up.

i kow that it may look a bit like SV´s style but im skinning like this since i ever gpt the hang of it so just to clean something up:
im not trying to make something look the same or stuff liek this
and well i actually suck at fold definition and stuff thats why they look crappy
but well overall i dont think it turned out too bad at all

Thats not a modeled aura, nor is it a sprite. He made it with photoshop, or whatever other program he has.

his face isnt right, its too fat...almost childlike. actually, looking at it a second time, it looks very much like its the skin thats the problem, you dodged the cheeks too far down the face, so now it looks like hes a bloated kid, if you remove most of the dodge at the bottom of the face, itll look much better.
