Do you think that this beam would be a good addition to Freeza's attacks?

may i ask exactly where all these rumors come from....

in 1.1 u cannot add ki to a ball attack u can however toss another ball at the ps thus pushing it more (that is only if u have multips's on)

Oh well maybe in the future they will allow you to pump more ki into a ball attack.

The idea should be loosely combined with the previous thread about overcharging attacks. Perhaps Super Saiyan characters should have the ability to "overcharge" projectile attacks to make them more useful in struggles, or in combat in general. Without the ability to detonate them in someone's face, you actually have to plan on hitting terrain, and hope that they will stay in the blast radius before it happens. Overcharging would make this task a lot easier, and would make it more likely to win a power struggle on its own. Just a thought...

hey. i think frieza's finger laser is strong enough... yet his standard beam is not. so yes i think they should add hid garlic gun(BTW frieza was the one who vegeta leared his gun from) and when you power up later on. it should be stronger(in the show frieza used a super garlic gun once.)

yeah freeza needs a beam. most his moves usually go straight and its hard to get sum1 standing still. death ball is tight though :) What's that 1 beam he uses on namek when vegeta steals all of his db's? that should be his beam.

Freeza need a beam desperatly, i think majn krillins idea is perfect. Call it Death beam or something. Its impossible to find a stationary target to hit with freeza, and if you to you get dissed for using his attacks, i mean, disk, finger laser and death ball, ppl hate you if you use those.

Oh, and without flaming me or shouting at me, do the programmers or creators of ESF actually listen to these suggestions and implement them into the game, or are most of them brushed off and ignored?

Received an email from Mastasurf a few days ago...

Mastasurf

Giving freeza a powerful beam would unbalance him a lot. He already has enough powerful attacks.
There ya go right from the man, so I guess they don't plan on having a beam for Freeza, at least not at the moment that is.

Oh well, so much for that pointless rally! It was fun while it lasted, hehehe. I still remain by my theory that freeza needs a stronger beam weapon, but its ok, im just a noob who cant program or concieve the greater cause of this mod, so ill just be ignored :)

Oh, btw majin krillin, what is that thing on your sig, it looks like a guy being strangled by a blonde kid, kewl!

My sig is from The Maxx that was on MTV about 7 years ago, way back when MTV used to be a cool station and actually played music. You can't see because I darkened the image but the woman has a small sharp object in hand...

Yeah, I was really hoping for a beam myself too, as I don't really like to use the finger laser and never use the disk. Another thing I don't know if it was just me or if it was because I was playing on a bright map. When I was playing against a Freeza I heard him charging up a Death Ball but I couldn't see it until he threw it, as I said before don't know if thats a glitch or just because I was on a bright map.

It's ok. His Death Ball is stronger than most beams anyway. He can just link them together in 1.1 if he wants too.

the death ball can be charge below minimum so that it will not show in the person's hand. If you time it just right you can make the death ball "pop" out of nowhere buy charging it up to the minimum and releasing the charge.

Yeah, you can do that with disc's too, but its kinda cheap, and thats the point of this whole thread, to make freiza UNcheap, cuz no matter what you do with him you get called a lamer, sucks.....

Yeah Sonic having 2 deathballs pushing against a beam should be a big help for Freeza, only thing I worry about is the charge time of the deathball. Oh btw congrats on you 1000th post. But for all its worth the DB is a wonderful attack, great damage and really doesn't take a great amount of energy.

However Vegita’s FF is much bigger than Freeza’s beam, so again I would have to assume that a larger beam means more power
this is way up but in the cell saga i think cell did a massive kahmamaha(crap spelling) and gohan did a little shirmpy 1 and gohan kick his ass

I just saw that episode they looked about the same to me.
On-topic: Multi death balling a FF will definatly help freeza alot. He still needs a beam even though throughout most of the show I really never saw him use one.

The only 2 beams that I can remember off hand that Freeza ever used was the one I already showed and the one that he shot at Trunks before getting cut into bits.

EDIT:

Hell I would like to see Freeza get any beam even if it is less powerful than the GG, it would still be a help to him. I think that if there is enough push for Freeza to get a beam they will eventually give him one. Perhaps not, I don’t know, along with Freeza getting a beam I would really enjoy both of Trunks attacks fixed as well.

Hell yes on Trunk's attacks...we can only dream. But the beam attack...while I understand Masta's POV about overpowering Frieza, I still think every character should have an attack that is somewhat psable on its own. But I guess Frieza players will have to go with DB and generic beams once 1.1 comes out. (adding them in the same ps)
