Long story short. Steam is at it again giving out a special Portal edition (extended demo) for all nvidia card users. But you allso get HL2 DM and Lost coast with it so ^^

well grega thanks for the news thats me got back HL2 DM, since i lost my old steam account last year then the pc blew up back when i was co head tester. they should have given CS:S and hl2 dm with the orange box to be honest.

im guessing you need HL2 itself to be able to run these,

my new pc came with an integrated nvidia card and that was enough to net me the free ones, problem is the only game i have on my steam account is HL1

Strange enough. I only have HL1 on my account and it let me download and play all of them.

Nope. You don't get the SDK with it.
